It has a total of 8 campuses across India.To get admitted in NID the candidate needs to qualify the NID’s Design Aptitude Test (Prelims & Mains) .

- Firstly one need to appear for NID Design Aptitude Test (DAT)- Prelims.
- Further after being shortlisted in prelims one needs to successfully clear NID DAT (Mains).

Educational Qualification :
For application to NID entrance exams the candidates must have passed (10+2) qualifying examinations in any stream (Science, Arts, Commerce, etc.) from any recognized board of education such as CBSE, IB, ICSE or their equivalent
